I have used Aplia in a principles course. My use has been limited to using
two experiments, one on the Supply and Demand of textbooks and another
on management of resources called the Tragedy of the Commons. I found
both experiences to be valuable and highly recommend Aplia to instructors
that seek to use experiments in the classroom. I moved my class to a
computer lab and we ran the experiment there. Aplia contained great
support in terms of readings and problem sets before and after each
experiment. I was able to use their scores as part of the final grade as well.

Aplia has many other resources besides the experiments. Think of it as a
Student Study guide online. I am thinking of using it in my web-based
online courses as well. It was clear that the students did not have to be
in the same room other than for the comfort of the instructor.
