I think the ANT-MAN is correct in pushing salary numbers to attract
students. My school just had a "Junior Day" (these are highschool
juniors) to recruit students. I made copies of starting salaries for
business economists with either the BS or BA degree. It seemed to have
a lot of appeal (at least to the moms and dads). The numbers for
starting salaries are lower than what ANT-MAN published. The
Association for Business Economists have a lot of other data sets which
could be potentially useful for purposes of recruiting economics
students.
